Shell Recharge gets you access to over 25,000 public EV charging points, located at Shell forecourts, supermarkets such as Waitrose and Aldi, and on-street chargers with Ubitricity.
Cardholders can charge their vehicles wherever their card is valid. The Shell Recharge card gives you access to over 25,000 charge points in the UK, 900 of which are rapid charging. Drivers looking for traditional fuels will also get access to 3,800 filling stations. Your card is linked to your customer account and has a unique ID number. Every time you recharge or purchase fuel, this data is logged and the purchase amount is added to your invoice.
With Shell’s EV Charge Card, drivers can save 2p per kWh when charging their vehicles. As you can also use this card to pay for traditional fuels, this card is perfect for fleets beginning to transition to EVs ahead of the UK’s 2035 ban on new petrol and diesel vehicles.
Charge Cards offer a secure method for payments; you control what products drivers are purchasing, and they help to cut fuel fraud.
Furthermore, you’ll also never need to carry receipts again as you’ll receive HMRC compliant invoices that consolidate all transactions from the cards on your account.
There are three Shell Fuel Cards available from Motia, each offering a wide range of different benefits. Whether your business has just one car or a fleet of HGVs, there’s a Shell card for you. The Shell Multifleet Fuel Card gets you the best coverage, whilst the Shell CRT Fuel Card offers savings of up to 10p per litre at Shell’s motorway sites.
One of the best ways to optimise your fuel usage is to carefully plan your routes. To do this, you need to know which filling stations accept your fuel card, and where they sit along your route. Our handy Pump Locator app lets you do just that! You can filter between brand, fuel cards, and HGV requirements.
