Ozar Naeem

Sales Team Leader

I joined Motia (previously Fuel Card Services) in 2021 as a graduate with little office or sales experience. I planned to stay for just a year, but the supportive and fun environment quickly changed my mind. I've developed a wide range of skills and grown both personally and professionally.

In 2023 I became a Senior Sales Executive, and in 2024 I progressed to Assistant Team Leader. Motia has provided training, support, and opportunities that helped me identify a clear career path and build confidence while supporting others to do the same. I'm now a Sales Team Leader in the Burley office.

My favourite things about Motia are the friendly atmosphere, the strong focus on development, the open and approachable culture, the fun incentives, and the ability to earn uncapped commission.

Mark Lumsden

General Manager Sales

I joined Motia (formerly Fuel Card Services) in 2003 straight from school. Although I had no sales experience, I was given the opportunity to begin my career, and over the years I've been supported with extensive training and development that helped me consistently exceed targets.

After more than 15 years as a Sales Rep, I moved into a Team Leader position and now I'm the General Manager for Sales in our Burnley office. I find it incredibly rewarding to pass on my knowledge and watch new reps grow just as I did.

Motia is a friendly, diverse, and supportive place to work. The company genuinely cares about its people — professionally and personally — and I'm grateful for the support I've received over the years.

Louis Jackson

Training Manager

I'm the Training Manager, responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training across the business. I lead an Assistant Manager and a team of four Coaching and Development Trainers, supporting both new starters and long-tenured colleagues with everything from induction to product rollouts.

I joined in 2013 as an Account Manager in New Business. In 2014 I became a Trainer, discovering a passion for helping people develop. I moved into my current role in 2018 and am now completing the Level 7 Senior People Professional qualification, sponsored by Motia.

What I value most is the trust, autonomy, and ongoing support I've been given, which has played a huge part in my development and why I've stayed so long.

Aron Heaton

Credit Control Manager (Burnley)

I'm the Credit Control Manager for the Burnley office, overseeing the performance and operations of the credit function.

I started in 2005 as a Business Administration Apprentice in Customer Services (Card Admin). When my company was acquired by Fuel Card Services in 2009, I transferred into Credit. I became Credit Supervisor in 2010, Assistant Credit Control Manager in 2018, and Credit Manager in 2023.

The best part of working at Motia is the office environment and the people I work with every day.

Joanne Brown

Change & Continuous Improvement Manager

I'm the Change and Continuous Improvement Manager, working with teams across the business to understand challenges, improve processes, and support people through change.

I've been with Motia for 19 years, starting as a Sales Rep before moving into Account Management and later becoming a Team Leader in Retentions. I then transitioned into a business support role focused on operations, projects, systems, and key processes like invoicing before moving into my current position.

The highlight of working at Motia is the people — supportive, collaborative, and genuinely great to work with.

Vikkie Hart

Payroll Manager

As Payroll Manager, I'm responsible for processing employee payments and deductions, ensuring payroll runs accurately and on time, and managing pensions each month.

I joined the business in 2012 in the card admin department and later moved into the MileageCount development team, eventually becoming supervisor of the support team. In 2015 I joined Payroll as a Payroll Administrator and have since progressed to Payroll Manager.

The best thing about working at Motia is the people and the strong support for development through qualifications and ongoing training.

Rebecca Hardaker

General Manager

I'm the General Manager for the new business sales office in Leeds, leading and supporting our sales teams to deliver strong performance against our targets. My role focuses on driving results, motivating people, and helping teams not only meet their goals but exceed them.

I've been with Motia for almost 16 years, working across most areas of the sales function and in two offices. I began as a Sales Advisor before progressing into leadership, managing my own team and learning what it takes to deliver consistent results. I've now been a General Manager for more than eight years.

What I value most about working at Motia is the people. Across every department, it's the people who make Motia a genuinely great place to work.
