Motia was proud to attend the Operational Excellence Awards 2026, an evening that brought together some of Ireland’s leading operations teams and industry leaders to celebrate innovation, performance and best practice.

Held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry, Dublin, the event showcased the very best in operational excellence across multiple sectors. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with peers, share insights and recognise the outstanding work being delivered across the industry.

Proud to Be Shortlisted

Motia was honoured to be shortlisted for the Operational Excellence in Transport & Logistics Award, alongside strong competition from An Post, BWG Foods and E2G Logistics. Being recognised at this level is a significant achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and continuous improvement mindset of our team.

While we did not take home the award on the night, we are incredibly proud of the recognition and what it represents for our business.

Congratulations to the Winners

A huge congratulations to An Post Commerce for their well-deserved win, as well as to all of the other award winners. The standard of excellence on display was exceptional and reflects the strength of operations and logistics across Ireland.

A Great Night with the Motia Team

It was a great opportunity for some of the Motia team from across different departments to come together, celebrate our achievements and enjoy the occasion as a team. At the Motia table was: Chris Patton, Paul Williams, Daniel Breet, Tom Cosway, Niall Delargy, Robert Steele, Stevie Smeeth, Stacey McElhatton, and Jill Boardman.

We were also delighted to host Orla Stevens, Managing Director of Certa Ireland, at our table. It was a pleasure to have Orla join us for the evening, and we greatly appreciate the time taken to be part of the event.

Looking Ahead

Events like the Operational Excellence Awards serve as a valuable reminder of the importance of continuous improvement and collaboration. At Motia, we remain committed to driving operational excellence across everything we do, and this recognition only strengthens our ambition.

Congratulations once again to all involved, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead.
