Motia recently attended the bp Elevate Distributor Awards 2026, joining distributor partners from across the UK to celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement within the fleet and fuel industry.
The event brought together bp and its distributor network to recognise outstanding individual and team performances, share ideas, and discuss the future of the sector. It also provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships with industry peers and celebrate the people who continue to drive the industry forward.
One of the highlights of the event was seeing Tom Cosway take part in a panel discussion focused on the future of fuels and electric vehicles, alongside fellow bp distributor partners and industry leaders.
The discussion explored the evolving needs of fleet operators, the opportunities presented by emerging technologies, and the role that fuel providers and fleet management specialists can play in supporting customers through a period of significant change.
Events such as bp Elevate provide an important platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation across the industry.
The evening was made even more special as several members of the Motia team were recognised for their outstanding contributions.
Gemma Kershaw
Gemma was named bp Advocate of the Year, recognising her commitment, professionalism and dedication to delivering exceptional support for customers and colleagues alike.
Warren Poyser
Warren's award as New Team Member of the Year is a testament to the impact he has made since joining Motia, demonstrating an outstanding attitude and commitment from day one.
David Bennington
David was recognised as Runner-Up for Salesperson of the Year, reflecting another successful year of delivering value for customers and contributing to Motia's continued growth.
Recognition at events such as the bp Elevate Distributor Awards reflects the talent, hard work and commitment of our people. We are incredibly proud of Gemma, Warren and David and the contribution they make to the business every day.
The awards also provided an opportunity for colleagues from across Motia to come together, celebrate success and represent the business alongside our valued partners at bp.
We would like to thank bp for hosting another excellent event and congratulate all winners and finalists from across the distributor network.
Congratulations once again to Gemma, Warren and David on their well-deserved achievements.
