We are proud to announce that Motia has been shortlisted for the Operational Excellence in Transport and Logistics Award at the Operational Excellence Awards 2026.

This recognition places Motia alongside leading organisations including An Post, BWG Foods, and E2G Logistics, highlighting the impact our platform continues to deliver across the transport and logistics sector.

The Operational Excellence Awards recognise organisations that are transforming how operations perform through innovation, integration, and measurable results. Being shortlisted is a significant milestone for Motia and a clear validation of the work our teams deliver every day.

Recognising excellence across Ireland’s transport and logistics sector

The Operational Excellence Awards celebrate the most innovative individuals and companies driving operational excellence and business transformation across Ireland. Each year, the awards bring together hundreds of senior leaders to recognise organisations that deliver real change across cost control, safety, sustainability, and performance.

To be named a finalist reflects Motia’s continued focus on solving complex fleet challenges with practical, intelligent solutions that scale across fleets of all sizes.

Winners will be announced on 27 May 2026 at the awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry.

Why Motia was shortlisted

Motia was shortlisted for demonstrating how operational excellence is achieved through connected intelligence and real‑world impact, not isolated technology.

Our submission highlighted how Motia helps fleet operators simplify complexity by bringing together fuel, safety, compliance, telematics, cameras, maintenance, and insurer intelligence into one integrated platform. This approach eliminates system fragmentation, reduces manual administration, and gives operators clear, real‑time insight they can act on.

Key outcomes recognised by the judges include:

  • Unifying multiple fleet systems into a single platform for faster, better decision‑making
  • Reducing administrative burden through automation and standardised workflows
  • Delivering measurable cost savings through fuel efficiency, idle reduction, and improved forecasting
  • Supporting insurance premium reductions of up to 15 percent through insurer‑aligned driver analytics
  • Reducing incidents and claims by more than 60 percent through behaviour‑led insight and coaching
  • Automating verified carbon reporting to support sustainability and Net Zero compliance
  • Improving audit readiness and compliance across regulatory and industry standards

These results are delivered consistently across a wide range of customers, from single‑vehicle fleets to large HGV and multi‑trailer operations operating across the UK and Ireland.

Operational excellence through integration, not complexity

At the centre of Motia’s approach is the belief that operational excellence is created when data works together. By integrating telematics, AI cameras, tachograph data, fuel insight, maintenance information, and insurer metrics, Motia transforms raw fleet data into meaningful insight that teams can use immediately.

This integration allows fleet managers to spot risk earlier, act faster, and make informed decisions that improve safety, reduce cost, and support long‑term performance. It also ensures that drivers receive fair, data‑backed feedback that supports engagement and accountability across the business.

Human‑centred system design remains a core part of this approach. By simplifying traditionally complex workflows, Motia increases adoption across all user groups and helps organisations maintain higher standards consistently and at scale.

A shared achievement across Motia

Being shortlisted for a national Operational Excellence Award reflects the combined efforts of our product, engineering, customer, operations, and support teams. It also reflects the trust our customers place in us to support their fleets every day.

This recognition builds on Motia’s growing track record of industry awards and reinforces our commitment to delivering solutions that create measurable, lasting impact for fleet operators.

We look forward to the awards ceremony in May and to continuing our work helping transport and logistics businesses operate more safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

We would like to thank everyone at Motia who contributed to this achievement and wish all finalists the best of luck at the Operational Excellence Awards 2026.
