Motia is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in two prestigious categories at the Fleet World Great British Fleet Awards 2026Innovation in Cost Reduction and Innovation in Risk Management.

The awards take place on 16 April 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milton Keynes and recognise excellence, innovation and measurable impact across the UK fleet industry. Being shortlisted in two categories is testament to the strength of Motia’s integrated approach to fleet intelligence and the dedication of our teams since the 2025 merger of Fuel Card Services and Cubo.

Recognising Innovation in Cost Reduction

Our nomination in this category highlights Motia’s unique ability to connect fuel, telematics, cameras, compliance and insurer insight into one unified operational model.

This integrated approach has already delivered measurable savings for fleets, including:

  • 61% reduction in claims frequency
  • Up to 15% lower insurance premiums
  • 50% reduction in idling, improving fuel efficiency and saving one major fleet £240,000 annually
  • Significant reductions in admin time through streamlined systems and faster incident resolution

These are not projected savings. They are verified underwriting and operational outcomes.

Recognising Innovation in Risk Management

Motia’s shortlisting for Innovation in Risk Management reflects our shift from traditional, reactive risk handling to a proactive, data‑driven risk prevention model.

Our work with HDI Global enables:

  • Direct API integration of driver behaviour data into insurer risk models
  • Transparent, real‑time performance benchmarking via the Driver Performance Report
  • Earlier intervention when risk trends emerge
  • Empowered drivers through the Motia Driver App

Fleets using this model have achieved 50–60% reductions in incident rates, alongside better coaching culture, driver accountability and faster claims defence using instant-access video evidence.

A Shared Success

These recognitions are a result of collective effort — from our customers, our partners at HDI Global, and, most importantly, the Motia team whose innovation continues to reshape how UK fleets operate.

We look forward to joining the industry at the Great British Fleet Awards on 16 April and celebrating the achievements of all shortlisted organisations.
